Message I think the line is too exposed and gets cooled by air if you are driving at speed. At highway speeds (even after 30+ minutes of driving), the temp barely registers (below ~140 F). When I pull off the highway and drive at slower speeds the temp will slowly creep up to stabilize at around 180.

Caveat: I don't have underbelly engine covers installed, so that may allow more cool air flow around that region.
